As many of you already know, AbGradCon2006 is cancelled. In its place we will be having a graduate student meeting on Sunday, March 26th as part of this year's AbSciCon. All astrobiologists are invited by we are especially soliciting the participants of students and post-docs attending AbSciCon. This meeting will have three parts: a graduate student open discussion on issues surrounding AbGradCon, a panel discussion on the broader implications of the current funding climate for young astrobiologists, and a practice talk session for graduate students slated to give talks at AbSciCon. Refreshments will be provided!

If you plan on attending this meeting, please email us at AbGradCon@gmail.com. If you wish to give a practice talk, indicate that in your email as practice talk slots will be distributed on a first come, first serve basis. Please visit the schedule page to view the evening's events. The meeting will commence on Sunday, March 26th at 5:45 in the Reagan Building, Room Hemisphere A.
